Mental side of golf 101
Ended up being a longer 🧵
The knowledge is pretty simple. It’s the execution that’s very difficult.
FYI, this is mostly based off of Golf Beneath the Surface by Raymond Prior.
Best mental golf book I’ve read. Go give it a read if you like this thread
Basics:
The mental game comes down to three things.
Commitment
Pursuit
Acceptance
That’s 95% of it. The trick is not letting ur own brain lead you down some weird rabbit holes.
Let’s get into the details…
@FrontRowRugbyXV Still do not rate him. Alot of small victories gets celebrated and when he is off no says nothing. Watched him again sarerday. Crucial
Mistakes. So still mo fan. Is he better. Yes. Is he the best. No ways
@StatBoy_Steven@CaptSpringbok Check the math. If you pass 1degree backwards tou wont have momentum getting it land before where it was released. So momentum is another made up rule like backwards from the hands bullshit
@CaptSpringbok You all are not understanding the real rule. If Atendese was standing still would he be able to catch it. It boils down to that. No human can run faster with momentum if you pass even 1degree backwards
@rugby_ap Maybe he can get as many as Jesse. I think there were a few perv boys tou gave chances also. In my opinion. We need to find a new centre in jesse’s place and let Manie go. Too
Many for both already. Jesse not
My pick for next WC
@AnalystGus What about bad control in vital scrum close to the line. Those small things gets highlighted with other guys. Only the good is spot light. Same as Jesse kriel. One break. Most times he goes in we lose penalty for holding on
@supersport. Stop splitting the screen when i am watching the athletics. It is such a mumbo jumble the channels. Just let me watch when i finally found my channel. I dont want to see basketball in between my watching. 😡
