My tuppence worth, for what it’s worth: don’t underestimate Keir Starmer. I do not think he will go gentle into that good night.

From relatively humble beginnings, he has risen to the very top of not one but two demanding professions. He may not always be the most effective communicator, but he possesses a resilience, perhaps steeliness, that many of his critics overlook.
