@KeenanBishop_ But I should also say that some clients probably don’t need 60mins but in that scenario I probably don’t need to see them that often either.
@KeenanBishop_ Since starting my practice at 1hr tx time I think it’s the best way for we’ll gathered clinical reasoning and allow pts to feel more connected to the process. Result: Increases pt satisfaction, improved independence with HEP, improved stress levels for the clinician.
@RMcElhenney@TheSunnyPodcast Thanks for being an advocate for awareness that learning disabilities don’t fit into a physical look for intelligence or ceiling for success.
I was recently diagnosed with a host of neurodevelopmental disorders and learning disabilities! At 46!
I go through the full diagnosis/prognosis on the @thesunnypodcast (which drops in 2 weeks)
It’s not something I would normally talk about publicly but I figured there are
others who struggle with similar things and I wanted to remind you that you’re not alone. You’re not stupid. You’re not “bad”. It might feel that way sometimes. But it’s not true :)
@DPT2Go@diaz_dpt@Steven_KinneyPT@Chase That’s terrible. I’ve heard of accounts closing for inactivity but sudden, unexplained closure? Unacceptable. Esp for a bank as old as Chase.
@PTPintcast Client 2.0 with continuous upgrades. A life coach for improving movement and achieving better self esteem on the possibilities each client can achieve….and a foam roller on my Amazon store front…
So thankful that I can work for one hour session. Just me and my client. It is frightening that this person thinks the aide & receptionist makes 3-4 patients/hr a plus. Can you train me for the mental toll?
@BillingMartin Agreed. In my area of work (Scoliosis) I get this often. I tell them to consider the time it took to get to this current status. Then give me at least sessions to build that foundation toward change.
@NatashaFalvey 🤣When I graduated PT school my brother gave me a shrunken head and chicken bones and said “congratulations witch doctor.” Pretty sure he still thinks that 14 yrs later
