@danielanadj77 The EU has really made a mess of the EES rollout, it was suppose to improve security, tracking & speed up processing in airports. I’m pleased we don’t have this awful mess at our airports.
@EULondonMark The purpose of the EES was to improve security, tracking & speed up processing in airports. The rollout by the EU has been shite, not the Brits leaving the EU. Now, you are looking at this awful mess wishing the EU were in charge of us too. 🤪

@RichardGCorbett The EU would ❤️ the UK back, 12% of the budget = they get £100 billion & all the tariff monies, control back etc. it’s just the people of the UK don’t want to be part of the EU, especially now with the mess it’s in.
Interesting. The UK offers a single market in goods, which would bring economic benefits to both sides (though slightly more to the EU, given the trade balance).
Brussels rejects the offer and instead demands a customs union - which would badly hurt the UK, and would mean that the EU no longer had to worry about a more free-trading state on its doorstep.
Eurocrats are not interested in mutual gains. They are still in the business of trying to punish Brexit.

@atalaveraEcon@b_judah The UK’s poor fiscal position is the result of domestic economic policies which continue to borrow too much, tax too much, spend too much. Nothing to do with Brexit.
@LBC@James7Holland@UKandEU Even if there was a special deal, we still didn’t want to be part of it. 😂
No one wants to flip flop In / out / in / out & continue debating or going in, for Reform to pull out. It’s not in the UK or EU’s interest.
@David90shaw@thepublicgets We didn’t want to be part of the EU even when we had the rebate anyway. Given the trade deficit, the EU should be paying us to rejoin, not the other way round.
@LabourfutureUK@Rod__Mason Even if there was a special deal, we still didn’t want to be part of it. 😂
