@cravenscience1 I like Michael Young's original Rise of the Meritocracy but he also has a more recent piece in the Guardian where he's like "It was a satire, you idiots, not a manifesto!!"

There's Sandel and Markovits but their writing is upsetting. Matthew Stewart's 9.9% is more fun.
