๐ Big win for wind power: in Europeโs biggest ever offshore wind auction, a record amount has been secured - enough to power over 12 million homes.
๐ก Only 15% of Brits donโt like seeing wind turbines in the countryside, with most of either generally liking seeing them, or not minding either way.
๐ฃ Brits are proud of renewable energy, with support vastly outweighing the opposition.

Our CEO Rachael Orr was an expert witness at the Peopleโs Panel in 2024, contributing to a review of the Scottish Parliamentโs public engagement strategy for climate change.
๐ Terrific news as we kick off the year: UK renewable energy hit a record in 2025, with wind and solar both reaching new highs.
๐กBrits often underestimate how much of the UKโs electricity is made from renewables, and 67% of us are compelled by maintaining our progress, as shown in the table.
โ๏ธ Our research says that Brits are proud of the UKโs transition to clean energy, particularly solar. 89% of people are comfortable with rooftop solar panels, viewing them as common-sense policies that can lower bills and address climate change.
๐ A big thanks to everyone who has supported us and helped make this all happen. If you celebrate Christmas, we wish you a brilliant holiday season. We look forward to working with you all in 2026!
โญ As we look back on 2025, our star on the top of the tree this year has to be our Britain Talks Climate & Nature research - with Secretary of State, Ed Miliband calling it compulsory reading! Hear our highlights from our CEO, Rachael Orr.
๐ก All of this points to thoroughly embracing solar power as a tangible symbol of personal and collective progress and hope.

๐ข Exciting update: solar power has soared to record levels in the UK in 2025, brilliant news for Brits who are largely either happy or donโt mind seeing solar panels on our rooftops.

A Rooted Patriot in Anglessey said: โI've got solar power and it's absolutely brilliant. Tonight I'll probably make about ยฃ8 in profit just exporting that back to the grid.โ
Congratulations to @ClimateOutreach, @Ashden_org, the ACE Coalition and all others who helped secure the first UK Government public participation strategy for climate.
