The Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, under Justice Ayo Emmanuel, dismissed the suit filed by King Bubaraye Dakolo of Ekpetiama Kingdom against Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC) and six other defendants, including the Attorney General of the Federation and the Nigeria Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission.

The Paris Agreement Implementation and Compliance Committee (PAICC) has made significant progress this year on its work to facilitate compliance at a critical time in the implementation of the Paris Agreement.

The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group approved a loan of €200 million to finance the “Clean Air” project carried out by the Société Ivoirienne de Raffinage (SIR).

According to the 2018 Nigeria Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS), which employed the Washington Group Short Set of Questions, 11-12% of girls aged 15 and up were found to have at least one functional impairment.
