There was a time I was seriously into the NBA, but over time, the game changed and now I rarely watch it at all.

I say that because I found today I'm in the early stages of repeating that with college basketball. Maybe it's because my team had a tough year, maybe it's because NIL is creating a bunch of mercenaries who do what's best for themselves (much like the NBA) but I just wasn't feeling it today. Didn't watch the selection show and won't be filling in a bracket this week.

Maybe I'm totally wrong, and often am. But it's like the college game has decided to de-emphasize what made it great (tradition, players staying for a few years so you could get to know them, an allegiance to a school) and traded it for the things the NBA does that aren't so great.

Hopefully for college sports, I'm the only one who feels this way...

@EnthusiAdams @BelmontMBB I feel bad for players, fans, families, alumni, friends, all of whom have to deal with an NCAA that has no interest in preserving what was great about college athletics, allows inmates to run the asylum, and is apparently run by fools. No understanding of their golden egg.

Congratulations @ncaa you have gotten what you wanted - you have rigged the tournament for the power conferences. When a 31-1 team is the last team in and a 17- 16 Auburn team is considered for an at large, you know the system is a joke.

Good to see Bubba Wallace win the Brickyard. I’m trying to get interested in @NASCAR but this convoluted stage racing, overtime and playoff system is too much. Just race for the win every race and be done with it.
