Can I ask an open question to everyone (Dr, Path, PA, Student, Nurse, Scientists, Other)?
1. Why did you choose to do what you are doing?
2. What is the best part of your job?
I really enjoy hearing why people do what they do.
Thanks, Trav
I was asked today who the most inspirational person I’ve discussed on the podcast.
Dr John Langdon Down (1828-1896). He was centuries ahead of his time with respect & compassion. He changed the lives of hundreds of children.
Episode 13 Survivable Triplicates or look him up.
I love pathology history.
As an AP Registrar working at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, I managed to get the first ever Pathology report written in August 1916 (de-identified - out of habit).
The surprising twist: it’s possibly a misdiagnosis.

We regret to confirm that we've had to postpone both the KFP and AKT exams. We've been working with our provider to urgently restore services, but in fairness to all candidates we have decided to postpone both exams. https://t.co/FRU81qbc6v
The @ClinpathPathLab connection to ShowcaseSA has been very successful. The General Pathology Conference is a shining example of how #SouthAustralian businesses can produce great outcomes together. In this instance #path4GPs

@charlierobinson@TalkedAboutMktg A massive day, a multitude of long words mixed with many piccolo coffees, you did a sterling job for us. Thank you.
Prof Graeme Suthers now on the stage to finish the day for us.
Steve’s going to have a challenge on his hands with pronunciation tomorrow when he is the #MC for the @ClinpathPathLab#conference in #Adelaide. Keep an eye on #Path4GPs as we’re sure there’ll be some wisecracking coverage of his struggle with #medical#jargon
