Cute Neo's breed has variant alleles in genes RSPO-2 - gives him characteristic furnishings ("eyebrows" & "moustache") FGF5 -which is characteristic of his long coat, and KRT71 - a keratin protein for his curly hair. We talk about KRT71 in our latest episode. #DogsHaveBossGenes
Milo is so cute! F2 #cockapoos have very interesting inheritance of traits.They are bred from F1 cockapoos. In the same litter, #puppies can inherit the variants for the curly coat of the #poodle grandparent or straighter coat of #Spaniel grandparent or #cockapoo parent coat.
