Looking back on the last five months, I’m grateful for every lesson, every challenge, every question asked, and every person willing to share their knowledge to me.
The aircraft I once looked at with curiosity now tell a different story.
I spent the first 3 months of my avionics apprenticeship making one mistake over and over again.
…not because I didn't know the theory.
…not because I wasn't trying.
But because I thought troubleshooting was about finding the fault as quickly as possible.
It isn't.
To stand out, you need to have something that someone needs.
That's what makes you valuable.
Not just a diploma.
Not just good grades.
Not just saying you're passionate.
Something you can actually bring to the table.
A few months ago, I couldn't even answer that question.
I realized that in aviation there will always be challenges, economic shifts, and periods of uncertainty.
.we’ve seen it before, and we'll see it again.
But despite the ups and downs, the world will always rely on aviation to connect people, goods, and support global growth.
I won’t lie….. even while in the aviation field,
I’m still filled with awe whenever I see a plane up there in the sky.
It’s amazing how so much engineering is enclosed within such a sleek design.
You want to know the truth? Maybe it's not as difficult as it seems.
Most mistakes aren't a reflection of a lack of effort, they're often a reflection of the knowledge, experience, or perspective we didn't have at the time.
In aviation, even entry-level roles are asking for experience…
…and I know what you're thinking...
…how do I get experience when I'm just starting out?…
Okay, you need to know that It’s not just experience but initiative helps you stands out.
I recently realized that the aviation industry is NOT saturated.
Yes, some areas in aviation are very competitive, especially entry-level roles and traditional office positions.
The industry is simply evolving and adjusting.
It’s been one week at school already!!!
One of the best experiences I had this week is reconnecting with my classmates after 4 months of not seeing each other.
Funny how it felt like we never even left…
Think about it🤔
Being able to fly is one of the amazing gifts of life.
Ponder awhile with me here….
You book a flight, get into it, ready and waiting to takeoff…
…like you are literally going to be hanging on there in the air until you reach your destination.
..amazing!
