No manifesto, no plans for the country, no nothing of tangible value he can offer to the country😭💀 but yeah let’s make him president because he fell out with his buddy HH😭🤧 sometimes I think Zambia deserves whatever we go through because there’s no way😭💀
@Chatnovski@0xUnoftheo7 Are we forgetting or just ignoring why Garry was dropped from his ministry and now blindly assuming he suddenly can make a good president just because some thugs attacked him and we feel sympathy?
Who is he? He should go back to America if our leaders are so corrupt. We do not need a lecture on morality from genocidal maniacs who also happen to traffic and rape children. America is in no moral position to call other countries corrupt.
The United States has criticised Zambia for failing to engage on a new health aid agreement governing more than $1 billion in U.S. funding, saying repeated outreach from Washington had been ignored as an April 30 deadline passed without a deal. https://t.co/Mx956DeL9I
@Mike42726245@Joel91807485081 So that's my point. BBC should have reported it like that. Stating it like the whole of Zambia is going through some racism problem is so untrue.
Fellow Zambians, which Zambia is this?
This is starting to look like the propaganda machine starting to push certain narratives for a particular purpose
The USA and it's representatives should be the last people to criticize anyone or any nation after all the corrupt activities they are involved in. From funding a genocidal state, to kidnapping a president, to starting unreasonable wars and endangering the whole world. Smh
@Jabuuu9 I love my country enough to acknowledge that we have a corruption problem, both governmental and individual. Where I draw the line is the US lecturing us coz they couldn't get their way. Ain't the same people holding us hostage with a Medical data and minerals deal for aid
@Jabuuu9 That being said... Let's come to domestic pollution. Anglo america rendered Parts of Kabwe unlivable with Lead Poisoning. If you've been to Butondo in Mufulira you'd see what Glencore did there... The air was barely breathable with dioxide poisoning.
@Jabuuu9 To do business in Zambia. And yes the pollution case was the flaming rod he'd use to attack Zambia on. But wait a second. America can't lecture the world on pollution. They first exited the Paris climate agreement. They refused to sign the Kyoto protocol on emissions reduction
@Jabuuu9 1. Let's agree he's probably right about corruption.
America's main purpose over the last 10 years has been to drive a wage between Africa and the East. If you follow him religiously you'll probably observe an undertone in his remarks about how easy it has been for China to
@Mike42726245@Joel91807485081 Very much improbable. Whatever racism is being report is common amongst those working for foreigners. And way less than 50% of the population is employed. I
@Mike42726245@Joel91807485081 My point is from the small percentage of all Zambians working for foreigners, we cant come to this insane conclusion that Zambians are facing racism. That's extreme and untrue
@ssishuwa My point is this isn't a widespread Zambian issue, it's in specific isolated situations. Your article from 9 years ago clearly states this is common in mining regions which are not the majority of Zambia. But it's wrong for BBC to generalize it like they did
