He is talking nonsense. This is what I was last taught on my refresher in February. Even probationary officers receive First Aid Learning Programme (FALP) training.
When arriving at a scene where someone reports they have been stabbed, or where a stabbing is suspected, your first priority is safety. Assess the threat, ensure the suspect is no longer present, and consider the safety of yourself, the victim, colleagues and members of the public.
Immediately request ambulance assistance and any additional police resources required via your radio. Conduct a rapid assessment of the casualty using the 10-second triage principles taught in FALP to identify any immediately life-threatening injuries.
Ask the victim where they believe they have been stabbed, but do not rely solely on their account. Many victims are unaware of the location or number of wounds due to shock, adrenaline or poor lighting conditions.
If safe to do so, carry out a physical assessment. Look and feel for injuries, particularly around the torso, back, armpits and limbs. In darkness, heavy clothing or poor visibility can easily conceal significant bleeding.
If blood is found, expose the area sufficiently to identify the injury and determine whether there is a single wound or multiple wounds. Catastrophic haemorrhage takes priority over all other treatment.
Apply direct pressure to any severe bleeding immediately. If an object remains embedded in the wound, do not remove it. Instead, apply pressure around the object and stabilise it. Removing an embedded object can significantly increase blood loss.
Maintain firm pressure even if the casualty complains of discomfort. The priority is preserving life. Do not delay treatment because your hands, clothing or improvised dressings are not sterile. Infection can be treated later, catastrophic blood loss cannot.
Retrieve the force first aid kit and any “Stop the Bleed” equipment available. Apply trauma dressings, haemostatic dressings or tourniquets if trained and authorised to do so. Continue to reassess the casualty and monitor the effectiveness of any interventions.
If colleagues, security staff or members of the public are available and capable, direct them to maintain pressure on wounds whilst you continue your assessment and treatment.
Keep talking to the casualty throughout. Reassure them, assess their level of consciousness and monitor for signs of deterioration. If conscious, obtain their name, date of birth and any other information that may assist medical staff or the subsequent investigation.
Where operationally appropriate, identify a next of kin or emergency contact. If the casualty volunteers information relevant to the offence, ensure it is captured on body-worn video and recorded appropriately.
Continue to monitor airway, breathing and circulation. Reassess bleeding regularly and maintain treatment until relieved by ambulance personnel or other suitably qualified medical practitioners.
Hold on, wait. Live chickens sold for meat at the side of a road in the UK. As you see, two live chickens were put in a plastic bag to suffocate. British farmers are under heavy restriction on just letting birds free-range to stop the spread of bird flu. Restrictions on movement, welfare and slaughter are even more heavily regulated.
Meanwhile, in a British City, Asians are buying their chickens from the back of a lorry! Their handling, welfare and transport is not being checked here. The cash sales are guaranteed to be declared to the @HMRC. You can guarantee @RSPCA & @RSPCB dont know about this trade, or do they?
A man was raped in a park in St Austell last night and they havent put out a description.
If a man is able to over power and rape another man, he will be strong, violent and aggressive. This would have been a long and sustained attack, and I do not believe the victim wasn't able to provide basics like weight, height, skin colour and accent.
A man of this level of aggression and strength is now free in St Austell. Its a dereliction of duty to not out out any sort of description to make every effort to arrest this man as early as possibly before he harms someone else.
Pravna Bhatt, 27, from India, currently living in Stoke-on-Trent, attempted to sexually abuse a 14-year-old British girl, caught by British patriots.
He said, “It’s my first time, please forgive me, I will never do this again.”
He told the girl, “Please send some money, I want to book a hotel for us tonight.”
@LucyTCWife@ourcountrysgone I agree. Starmer and Hermer are even now setting the sentence they will hit anyone with. The gave people who took part in the Southport disturbances were given 4-10 years. Dont play into their hands now!
@razorblade300@Multiminparvoj This is a sketch. They are not real police. The uniform is wrong. Only Met still wear white shirts, other countries have gone down the blue polo route. No collar numbers, no ID, no force ID, where's their radio, Asp, Pava spray.
The Digwa family ask for privacy so they can ‘come to terms with what lies ahead’. F*** off. They didn’t call an ambulance, they lied to police, they played the race card, they also raised a monster. They get to visit their son in prison, the Nowaks will never see their son again
