"The rare diseases approval process is broken. These inordinate delays are unacceptable, they're inhumane, they're cruel."
Padraig O'Sullivan TD speaking on the Claire Byrne show on Newstalk FM

It's incredibly frustrating seeing @HSE@roinnslainte shout about their commitment to cancer prevention and early detection when I'm trying to support people who are waiting up to 3yrs for access to #CascadeGeneticTesting for a known cancer syndrome in their family!!! #HighRisk

At this weeks #AllIrelandCancerSummit in Dublin
Alliance Party MP Sorcha Eastwood, whose husband was diagnosed with a rare lymphoma, said: “What you want as the person, as the patient, as the family, is a sense of control and a sense of a plan.”
@knowyournodes
Cancer knows no borders and neither should our fight against it. I was really proud to be able to speak at the All Island Cancer Summit in Dublin this week. We need to keep working together, keep talking and keep focused. We can and we must have an all island and all islands approach to Cancer.

We were delighted to finally meet Sorcha Eastwood in Dublin today, and she was incredibly generous with her time discussing advocacy issues affecting cancer patients across both islands.
While the UK Government are wasting your time squabbling in Westminster, I'm just getting on with delivering for people in Lagan Valley. I spoke today at the All Island Cancer Research Institute Conference in Dublin and I'm now at the Irish Parliament getting ready for Committee. I'll always go where I can deliver the most for my constituents- I'm not going to let this wreck of a Government stop me delivering for you!! 💪🏻
@CllSociety recently highlighted six-year follow-up data from our global Phase 3 SEQUOIA study evaluating our BTK inhibitor in patients with treatment-naïve chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic leukemia (SLL), with or without del(17p) and/or TP53 mutations.

Not often I get to chillax for an hour during the day, but giving a unit of blood today allowed me to do just that — there are no down sides when you #giveblood. Can I appeal to people who are eligible to consider donating blood. Blood donors are always needed. 🙏
An important article with @ProfJohnKennedy in the @Independent_ie highlighting the scale of the cancer challenge ahead for Ireland. Planning, investment, & coordinated action across the system will be critical to meet the needs of future patients.
