🚨 Trump administration kicking back against Kemi Badenoch suggesting it was “humiliating” for Farage to suggest he would trade Chagos islands for president’s silence over Falklands
A senior administration official tells @thetimes
“At no point did anyone in the administration construe Nigel’s comments as suggesting that he was giving away the Chagos Islands. He was obviously referring to the use of the Diego Garcia military base, which is critical to countering threats from China and Iran.
Anyone claiming otherwise is peddling fake news and undermining the Anglo-American relationship, including, apparently, Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch.”
The irony.
We send out a newspaper outlining our policies and the left go crazy.
Labour give leaflets to illegal migrants to ask them not to rape our women and children and they pat each other on the back.
We have one chance to save our country.

@Cal_III Of course the English are our own ethnic group, that’s not up for debate. If you genuinely think that Reform are no better than the Greens then you need to grow up and get offline for a bit. Mental.
@Cal_III@electionmapsuk Ah yes, so committed to purity-testing Englishness that you’d rather fragment the Right wing vote and let the Greens win. Impressive failure to grasp even basic second and third-order effects. You can’t make it up 😂
@RaheemKassam Online Tory’s can say what they like. At the end of the day the British public won’t forgive or forget what they did to this country. They had their chance and blew it!
Britain's borrowing costs just hit their highest level since 1998.
That means higher mortgages, higher taxes, and nearly £300m a day spent on debt interest, paid for by you.
Burnham is not facing up to the reality that he can't solve this crisis.
You know what’s funny?
The Tories attack Reform the most.
Labour attacks Reform the most.
Restore attacks Reform the most.
The Lib Dems attack Reform the most.
The Greens attack Reform the most.
Vote Reform.
@RobertJenrick@nadhimzahawi Aside from the fact this is standard diplomatic practice (the US met the Iranians for three hours at the UN, as you no doubt know) do you really think it raises the level of political discourse to call people “idiots”?

This is a spot-on summary of left-wing politics from Matthew: I’ve no idea how we’re going to pay for any of this, but it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
