Our GREAT Fun Day was epic today and the rain ☔️ stayed away too.! Thank you to @CllrForster for his help all day. It’s our 20th Fun Day next year and we’re looking forwards to it already! Thank you to all who supported and attended our event.
So it’s Friday and we’re already for our Sunday Fun Day. We’re praying 🙏 for no rain ☔️ and hoping the sun ☀️ will be out for the whole of our event. Please come and support us. We’re open from 1pm while 4pm.
We’re loving our new Fun Day banners and we hope to see you there at Redhill Playing Fields. We say each year that Fun Day has been our best ever and I’m sure it will be no different this year!

A Book of Condolence is available in Castleford Library from today and next week 9 am till 5 pm for those wishing to mark the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
Floral tributes can also be laid at the Cenotaph on Powell St.
Thanks to everyone who supported Friday night's concert at Carlton Lanes Shopping Centre and especially to those who have sent us some lovely comments since - they do mean a lot to us!

We’re looking forwards to joining our Councillors @denisemjeffery@arwallis@CllrForster and other Parks and Greenspaces groups this Monday to plan an event for the Queens #PlatinumJubilee in June for our town.
It was so lovely to attend the Christmas event held by SWAT in their lovely park. The choir and eco warriors from Henry Moore School sang lovely carols. @CllrForster made sure they all had a present. So Christmassy.
Using donations from the Community Market, our Y5 and Y6 school councillors have put together 10 packs for families as part of Friday's Reverse Advent Calendar collection.
