I have been on the road to see for myself the service delivery failures in ANC governments across the country. The town of Welkom has sewerage running through it and many towns have no water for weeks. Cadre deployment is the root cause of the rot in local governments.
Our mission is to unseat the ANC, keep out the EFF, and usher in a multi-party government following the 2024 National and Provincial Elections. #Charter24
The Multi-Party Charter negotiating a new way forward for a government to rescue SA next year has, under the guidance of independent Chairperson Professor William Gumede, agreed on our shared vision, priorities and principles. #NationalConvention2024
The Cape Town economy is booming! 🌇📈
Over the past year, we've added 263,000 new jobs, with 56,000 in the last quarter alone.
The city economy is becoming a national growth leader, a true City of Hope.
Mr. President, when you ignore my call to work together on rail devolution, you’re really ignoring the 1 million commuters in Cape Town who need the trains to work.
Your own national policy is to devolve rail, but you’re not implementing it. Why not?

Great jobs news today in Cape Town! 🔥
This is a government focused on growing the economy faster to get more people into work. Cape Town is the place to be 📍

I’m pleased with this statement from the National Cabinet - standing up for the rule of law and greater commuter safety for taxi passengers. 👏👏👏
That is our number 1 focus! Safer roads for all.
We are being proactive in ensuring the safety of our residents using public transport 🚎
I spent the morning on a MyCiti bus from Mitchells Plain to the CBD, over 75 routes are being escorted by Cape Town Law Enforcement 🚔
It's heartwarming to see residents travelling safely.
The @CityofCT’s electricity services continue to be impacted in areas in the metro south/south east, including Gugulethu, Mitchells Plain, Mfuleni & Hout Bay. Several depots are closed due to the #TaxiStrike & associated violence. Deployment of teams will be on emergency basis.

When businesses come, so do jobs!
“the second most commonly cited reason was to relocate to an area with more reliable utilities and municipal services (23.10%)”

Realistically, either an ANC or a DA approach will define South Africa’s future from 2024. Either a blue coalition of caring or a yellow coalition of corruption. I would venture to say that anyone not voting DA in 2024 is “shooting themselves in the foot”.

@geordinhl I really hoped he would touch on the devolution, especially after he welcomed our Mayor so friendly. But alas...... We didn't hear what we needed to hear.
I am so lucky to call this team of diverse, committed, and dedicated South Africans my parliamentary caucus. From all corners of our country, South Africa is represented by the DA in the National Assembly, fighting for the open, opportunity society that our country so deserves.
🚨 The ANC and EFF chaos taking place in Parliament at #SONA2023 shows how important it is for South Africans to unite behind the DA at the next election. It is the only way to keep anarchy out!
