This cockroach is really stupid! He really watched a mathematician explain how AI-generated research can undermine years of scientific work and somehow concluded that scientists are just upset because they’re no longer special. What a spectacularly stupid take.

Not everyone is terrified of losing their intellectual status, mate. Some people actually care about understanding things, developing knowledge, and making sure scientific progress is real and verifiable. You know, things that require a little more than sitting in front of a camera reacting to other people’s achievements.

And your logic is basically that if AI can do something for us, we no longer need to learn how to do it ourselves. Why develop critical thinking when a chatbot can think for you? Why understand mathematics when AI can give you an answer? Why develop any actual skills when you can just outsource your brain?

Here’s the funny part: AI doesn’t magically transfer intelligence into your head. Being able to generate an answer isn’t the same as understanding it, verifying it, or reproducing the reasoning yourself.

And what happens when that technology becomes unavailable, restricted, too expensive, or simply gets something catastrophically wrong? If an entire generation has stopped learning how to think independently because they assume AI will always do it for them, what exactly are they going to fall back on?

The irony is that you’re celebrating a technology that could make humanity more capable while mocking the very people whose expertise makes that progress possible. You’re confusing access to intelligence with possessing knowledge.

AI should help us become better at what we do, not give us an excuse to stop developing our own abilities.

But I suppose it’s easier to call highly educated people insecure than to actually understand the problem they’re describing.
