It’s #WorldRadiographyDay! 🎉
World Radiography Day (WRD) is celebrated on 8 November each year, marking the anniversary of the discovery of X-radiation by Wilhelm Roentgen in 1895 🤯
Thank you to our amazing Radiography team! 👏

Rather excited about this project coming together!! As a clinical educator, how can you prepare your students going into areas that cause higher anxiety like ITU and Theatre?? Immerse them into!! 🤟 #VR@AltyAngela@jonty2@BL_LTHTR@virtilabs@CritcareLTHTR@SCoRMembers
Sharing this as it might help someone going into 2020.. I wrote this on my bedroom mirror 2 years ago after hearing @soulogav use it as a tool kit!..’Stop listening to yourself, Start talking to yourself’.. 1/2
@NHSEngland@RoyalSurrey Interesting that an interventional lab was used for this. True, specialist radiology nurses are needed to work here but equally these labs cannot operate without diagnostic radiographers which we also need to recruit to the profession #willtherebearadiographerbursary@SCoRLondon
Next NHS staff shortages will include radiographers, as courses close - interesting article this morning in The Guardian. Highlights the issue with attracting mature applicants into the profession @SCoRMembers https://t.co/TKdMQTfcex
Make sure you pop by our brilliant radiotherapists and their information stall to learn more about this invaluable profession. They are in the front hall and have a fantastic visual aid made out of Lego to help show you the machine they use. #WorldRadiographyDay
@cloughdan81 @OncJnlClub A3. I agree that the clinicians need to buy into this concept but do you think that matters to patients if they have trust in the professional seeing them? #oncjnlclub
If you fancy finding out a bit more about our guest host @RalphManders, ahead of #OncJnlClub next week, then head over to the @UniOfSurrey website and check out his bio. https://t.co/zMiTfNZSJc #prostatecancer
