It was lovely to be able to pop in to support the CAMRA- Campaign for Real Ale in Westminster!!
Who doesn't love a wee pint🍺😄
On a serious note though, I was really pleased to see CAMRA calling loudly for an end to the Surrender Principle- it simply isn't right that emerging businesses are hamstrung by ancient and exclusive laws that are anti-business and anti-trade.
Alliance have long championed the repeal of the Surrender Principle and will continue to do so! 🍻
The news is one rolling script of rising unemployment, job losses, a tanking economy and AI replacing jobs while the government says it needs to gut the welfare state to get people back into work. Are the jobs in the room with us right now.

31st July, 4pm - 5pm, £5
A new traditional music session was established in The Hearth bar in East Belfast in October 2023, bringing together a growing community of local musicians. From the outset, the session navigated important local dynamics, leading to the phrase ‘Everyone’s Music’, reflecting the inclusive and open nature of the tradition.
In this talk, David and Gary will launch Everyone’s Music #2, discuss its development, and share their vision for the future of traditional music in East Belfast.

@Sam_Dumitriu Are you working closely with EDF?

You’ve seen this from us before, but in case anyone looking at this believes what you’ve said, here it is again.

I nearly don't want to say his name as he thrives on attention, violence, infamy and bullying. Way before 2016 my friends (all non-political) said Trump would win the Presidency. I was like, wtf why would you think that? They said because he was the guy off the Apprentice. He hired & fired. They didn't personally like him, but they saw how others thought that he got stuff done 1/
We are urging the public to exercise caution following reports of people losing significant sums of money to sophisticated cryptocurrency fraud.
These losses have had devastating consequences for the victims involved, and their loved ones. Full details:https://t.co/JoEt6eItTc
Very sad indeed to see Fergal go. His reporting has been magnificent over the years. A former RTÉ man who became quintessentially BBC. https://t.co/rvUMAB3Nre
Some thoughts on Nature recovery and how to blend that process with more effective planning for housing & infrastructure provision. By planning for Nature early on & through adopting a ‘both-and’ rather than ‘either-or’ approach, much progress can be made. https://t.co/mlv38FYKEf
