“Don’t think of Tigers” by @almaxlat. It is brilliantly silly, it feels like a magic trick. It’s the book which had the best readaloud response (page turn gasps and laughs) it’s also a book about keeping trying. Fab! #PicturebookPage

“Tove and the Island with No Address” by @lauren_soloy. It’s the book that has the most enormous sense of the joy and mischievousness of childhood. Full of wildness and adventure but wrapped in the safety of a hug. #PicturebookPage

“The Elephant and the Sea” by @ed_vere. It is a truly lovely story of resolve, dreams and courage. Its Cornish setting is vivid and beautiful and the story is full of joy and warmth. A true hug of a book. #PicturebookPage

As a headteacher of a school with a range of neurodiverse pupils, I love this inclusive book that normalises and destigmatises stimming. Visually beautiful and truly liberating. It’s a joy. #PicturebookPage

“Into the Goblin Market” by @vickivansickle and @WhoIsJensine. It is a brilliant fairytale full of courage and love , the art has a classic feel and while riffing on Rosetti this has a truly modern feel. Wonderful stuff #PicturebookPage
