Doug passed away Tuesday afternoon. He could no longer walk on his own and he told us it was time. He went so peacefully. He felt no pain. The sun was shining.

It was such an honor to be Doug's person. He taught me infinitely more than I taught him. I adopted him knowing he wouldn't be with me long, and I'm so incredibly grateful we got 3 years. We made the most of them.

Doug's presence had such a weight to it. He was impossible to ignore for many reasons, his size only one of them. I told him the foundation he inspired will help dogs well beyond his time here. I think he always thought that was pretty cool.

You're stardust again, Douggy. Come back to me in whatever form you like. I'll know it's you. And to whoever is with him now, please give him your love. He gave so much of his. 15/10 ❤️

i saw this movie twice (once with a friend who knew the lore, second with my family who did not, all agreed it was lifeless at best) and the second viewing was hard to get through. i found myself staring at the ceiling waiting for the springtrap scene

the #fnaf movie was… boring. in a universe that has everything it was just boring. the best parts were things that were kept from the games. william, the animatronics, springtrap. vanessa was useless, mike was lame, the extraneous plots (the aunt, her cronies) went nowhere (1/2)

the choice to not include the other aftons was fine, sure, but mike and vanessa were just boring and not a good replacement for the compelling hero that used to be michael afton. in the sequel i hope it’s all just william/springtrap and the kids/animatronics
