As much as many of us are celebrating President Trump's remarkable leadership today, his decisions are a huge challenge to Australia.
Trump's actions on energy, climate and red tape will only grow the economic gap between Australia and the world's biggest economy. Even before Trump, Australia's productivity has been in freefall under this Labor government.
If we do not drop our complacency soon, Australia will be in for a period of economic pain that we have not had for a generation.
It is time to make some tough, hard decisions again.
Drop net zero, scrap red tape and cut wasteful government spending.
@PatrickGormanMP Well you don’t back my family’s in the WA sheep industry🤷♂️ and you don’t really back any with absurd energy and cost of living that’s gone up under your watch
@PatrickGormanMP You must of found a big rock to be under @PatrickGormanMP if you think libs treat regions bad- it would require great skill to be worse than you lot
So if you've got 3 year old sheep which you don't sell until 2026 you've now got to put more tags into them. Fuck me seriously the sheep industry in WA is rooted.
If you buy in sheep you have to scan them, more money on something that's not going to do anything.
If you are obsessed with how the election of a certain US President will have a massive, detrimental impact on Australia, you're asking the wrong question.
The right question is:
How have we allowed the situation to develop where Australia is dependent on the results of another country's election?
If true, we are a dependent nation without sovereignty. That result should be cause for national embarrassment and deep self-reflection.
We need a new Australian Independence movement that brings back Australian self-sufficiency and sovereignty.
@andrewjgiles Bad move, how about making the key skills needed for the future ‘free’ to train for. Drone operation, electronics maintenance, computing skills etc not fking pottery
@shaunmicallef Just like he did last time hey @shaunmucallef
Last time he pretty much united the world against the common enemy of ISIS and successfully destroyed them
@Kit_Pirrottina@kangminlee Don’t know why the @TheDemocrats are pushing so hard with the celebrity endorsements to connect with everyday people, it doesn’t work
Look at ‘the voice’ referendum here for example 😂
Hey @MurrayWatt@livestock_the have images relevant to current live export you could use instead of outdated propaganda!
You can even take them up on a vessel tour to see for yourself our world leading animal welfare but it’s apparent you don’t care for reality. #KeepTheSheep
