We need to be realistic and sober once again on this one and have an honest conversation. Emotional blackmail, grandstanding and condescending tone no longer work to get people to donate. No matter how you explain it, donating blood, getting 2 buns and fanta for it, then having to buy it at ~$240 USD when you need it will not cut it with this generation. Gvt needs to subsidize it with our taxes and bring out better incentives for donors, especially when they also need it.
