Nearly 20 years after his death, the body of Ugandan musician Paul Job Kafeero was dug up from the grave for DNA testing to determine which of the 25 children he had were biologically his.
The legendary Ugandan musician died in 2007 at the age of 36.
For nearly 20 years, his 25 children and their mothers fought over his multi-billion Ugandan shilling estate, including land, houses, and music royalties.
The long standing dispute eventually led the court to order that his body be dug up and his bone and tissue samples were collected for DNA tests.
1st June 2026, it was dug up for test and 25th June 2026, the results were released.
Only 4 out of his 25 children were confirmed to be his biological children. The other 21 children were not his.
The ANC's Limpopo List Committee Chairperson Setlamorago Thobejane has acknowledged concerns raised by residents from different wards in the Capricorn District and says he is confident the party's leadership will respond within the stipulated 48-hour timeframe.
Residents who marched to the ANC’s regional and provincial offices in Polokwane on Thursday, are unhappy about the councillor candidate selection process ahead of the local government elections.
In their memorandum, party members are calling for the ANC to respect community-selected candidates and take action against officials accused of interfering with the selection process.
Thobejane says the memorandum will be handed to the provincial leadership without any changes. RM
🇮🇷 Iran just exposed another huge Trump lie 🔥
🇺🇸 Trump at 5 PM: "Farmers, get ready. Iran’s our new market. They need food. We’ll use their money to buy our wheat, soybeans, corn. Big deal coming soon."
🇮🇷Iran at 6:00 PM : "Trump is habitual lier. He lies that our unfrozen money buys their crops. Funny. We’re harvesting mistrust you planted it. It’s organic and homegrown."🔥

When a loved one goes missing, please do not rely only on the police. Use every lawful avenue available to help bring them home.
As Africans, we understand that there are connections that go beyond what the physical eye can see. There is a bond between a mother and child through inimbi (the umbilical cord), between siblings through isibeleko esinye (one womb), between relatives through isiduko esinye (one clan), and between parents and children through shared blood (igazi elifanayo).
These connections do not simply disappear when someone goes missing.
When a person disappears, the family is left with many unanswered questions. Days become months, months become years, and the pain of not knowing can be heavier than bad news itself.
This is why I always encourage families not to place all their eggs in one basket. Open a case with the police, continue searching, speak to community members, pray, and where it aligns with your beliefs, consult a trusted medium, Sangoma, spiritual healer, or church elder.
A gifted medium may receive messages, visions, symbols, dreams, or spiritual guidance that can help families understand what may have happened or where to focus their search. Sometimes the information is symbolic, and sometimes it is direct. The purpose is not to replace the work of investigators, but to add another avenue of guidance during a difficult time.
Our elders taught us that when one member of the family is suffering, the entire family line feels that pain. The living and the departed are connected. Sometimes signs come through dreams, unusual feelings, repeated messages, or spiritual revelations. Pay attention.
Most importantly, never stop searching and never lose hope.
And if a missing loved one is found alive after a long period away, it is important for the family to perform cleansing and thanksgiving rituals according to their traditions and beliefs. This helps restore harmony, healing, and spiritual balance within the family.
As Africans, we also understand the importance of dignity in life and dignity in death. Every person deserves to be accounted for, remembered, and, when their time comes, laid to rest properly.
May families searching for their loved ones receive answers, healing, and peace.

ANC SG Fikile Mbalula says a video of anti-illegal immigration activist Ngizwe Mchunu allegedly warmly greeting a German woman and calling her "South African" reveals a troubling "double standard" where some foreigners are embraced while African migrants are branded and targeted as "illegal immigrants."
He argues this reflects apartheid-era prejudices that still shape how people think today.
#BurkinaFaso 🇧🇫 | Authorities in Ouagadougou ends planned meetings with EU Special Envoy for the Sahel:
During a visit to Ouagadougou, the European Union's Special Envoy for the Sahel was finally unable to hold the various meetings planned with the Burkinabe authorities. The decision follows the adoption on 18 June 2026 of a European Parliament resolution criticised by Burkina Faso, which considers that the text contains inaccurate information and constitutes interference in its internal affairs.
Through this measure, the Burkinabe authorities intend to express their disagreement with this position and reaffirm their commitment to respect for national sovereignty and the principle of non-interference. ✍🏽
One of the greatest lessons in life is learning what deserves your energy and what does not.
There are some things that are not worth stressing over. There are some things that are not worth losing sleep over. There are some things that do not even require a prayer, a fight, an explanation, or a response. Not every battle is yours to fight.
Some situations need silence. Some situations need distance. Some situations need you to simply walk away.
Life teaches us that not everything must be fixed by our hands. Some things must be left to unfold in their own time. Some people must be left to learn their own lessons. Some doors must be allowed to close without us forcing them open again.
Love yourself enough to put yourself first.
Never allow anyone to make you constantly second-guess yourself, question your worth, or live in a state of uneasiness. Peace of mind is priceless. Protect it.
You are too young to carry unnecessary anxiety. Too precious to carry unnecessary stress. Too valuable to lose sleep over people who do not value your presence. Too important to sacrifice your happiness trying to please everyone.
There comes a time when the heart and the mind reach an agreement and say, "Enough is enough." And when that moment comes, there is no anger, no revenge, no cursing, and no fighting. There is simply acceptance and moving forward.
Some people are not meant to stay forever. Some situations are not meant to last forever. They come as lessons, teachings, and experiences that help shape the person you are becoming.
Do not regret every chapter that ended.
Every chapter, whether painful or beautiful, has contributed something to your book of life. Every disappointment carried a lesson. Every loss carried wisdom. Every setback carried growth.
Keep moving forward. Choose peace over chaos. Choose healing over bitterness. Choose yourself without guilt.
Your greatest relationship in this life is the one you have with yourself. Nurture it, protect it, and honor it.
The right people, the right opportunities, and the right blessings will never require you to lose yourself in order to keep them.
Your peace matters 💞

🚨 Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan makes a profound statement: “I’ll just say this… We—the Turks, Arabs, Kurds, and Persians—have foiled a conspiracy. The future will reveal just how bloody and malicious it was.”
This statement confirms that what happened was not merely a war, but a comprehensive conflict aimed at pitting the peoples of the region against one another. But what happened was exactly the opposite. The four countries stood as one, 🇵🇰🇸🇦🇹🇷🇪🇬 united in their stance, and the conspiracy was thwarted in its infancy. 🦅
It is absolutely scary that the ANC in the impeachment committee said “Let’s not oppose Ramaphosa’s interdict as a Committee - let’s leave it to the Speaker”
They knew full well that the Speaker Thoko Didiza would not oppose Ramaphosa’s interdict application.
By the time the impeachment committee would realise this plot, it would have been too late to file papers opposing Ramaphosa’s attempt to stop the committee from executing its mandate as per the ConCourt Judgement.
What makes it worse, the Speaker ignored legal advice that said she must oppose as it’s her Constitutional duty, and fundraised a dodgy legal opinion from ANC Matthews Phosa’s law firm a week later to justify a wrong decision.
It gets worse! Thoko Didiza was an ANC MP who violated the Constitution by voting to suppress the Section 89 Independent Panel Report, a decision set aside by the ConCourt!
The latest is an attempt to have terms of reference that make it possible for Ramaphosa to send a legal team to testify in his behalf.
The ANC has not changed one bit!
IF LAW IS LAW, WHY COLOR CHANGES THE RULE?
video is circulating. A well-known voice in SA seen hugging a white German tourist who overstayed her visa in Cape Town.
He tells her: ‘You’re part of us already because you’re white.’
same week, Ghanaian man married to SA woman gets chased out of his home by vigilantes.
Nigerian father of SA children gets his shop looted.
Kenyan nurse who saves SA lives at night gets told ‘go back to your country’ during day.
I ask 3 questions that keep me awake:
If German woman broke immigration law,, she must face Home Affairs. Same as Ghanaian brother. Same as Zimbabwean sister. Same as SA citizen who breaks law.
It showed some of us still think ‘white = welcome, black = problem’. That’s colonial thinking mngani. We fought apartheid to bury that thinking. @Mzanziawake
