Completed my final out and received my DD 214 today. It’s been an honor and privilege to serve you as the TRADOC Surgeon through these tumultuous times. It’s been an incredible journey. Always remember to take care of yourselves and each other. Victory Starts Here!
Memorial Day is often associated with the start of summer, discount sales and cookouts with friends, but before you post or text consider that this day honors service members who have died in military service to the nation. #NeverForget
Please follow this flow chart and particularly the first box. The CDC stated that 31% of people are still infectious at day 5. If you are in a congregate setting at work or where you live, you can still get others sick.
@RealTimWilkins@MeganJantos@PaulFunk2 Agreed and that is another item we are working. Our training sites already have athletic trainers(ATs). With the added forward care, the ATs can work on prevention and rehab too. Plus the Holistic Health and Fitness teams coming to our TRADOC sites will add even more capability.
@MeganJantos@RealTimWilkins@PaulFunk2 We’ve also added medics, PAs, NPs, Behavioral Health Officers, and physicians to our TRADOC Battalions and Brigades so we can quickly assess Soldiers for any needed care without missing training. Soldiers will hide injury or issue to prevent recycling. HUGE impact seen.
This fantastic program is how I started in the Army. I feel so strongly about it my daughter joined the program too as she started dental school. Highly recommend reaching out to the medical recruiters in your area.
@farrondozier Fantastic. I’m friends with Dr O’Connor. Great guy. I’ve already talked with our PAO and sent your information to them so we can coordinate a time for an interview. Thanks for your patience!
@JamesLo10376716@TRADOC@PaulFunk2 Any positive test may be sent to the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Disease (USAMRIID) for genome typing to determine the variant. We do it for vaccine breakthroughs, public health surveillance, or reinfection. Based on those, Delta is found in 98% of regions
Today, FDA approved the first COVID-19 vaccine for the prevention of #COVID19 disease in individuals 16 years of age and older. https://t.co/iOqsxXV1fj
