Some designer at Microsoft with authority has clearly dictated this exact zune-ish squircle corner rounding and it is showing up in every app and service all over the place lately. Widgets, Edge, Copilot and more.
As long as they are fixing Windows 11, can Microsoft do something about how the find/replace UI covers the document in notepad?
I complained about this 5 years ago and some Notepad dev replied about how wrong I was for wanting this fixed.
@WoodrowKiang@IntCyberDigest No it's a lie. You need to be admin on Windows to do this. A standard user can't retrieve any data but their own. Which they can do from browser password export option too.
Today I learned that edge on Android half- supports the theme-color meta tag, but ruins it.
The intended color flashes briefly around the address bar when you visit a page, and then it goes back to the default edge gray.
<meta name="theme-color" content="#505090" />
UI friction that Android hasn't figured out yet. You don't need "are you sure?" modal prompt on an action that already has an undo. Doubly so if there is an on-screen "undo" after the action, but even in cases where undoing it would take minimal effort (fetching from trash).
