The 30th of August commemorates the historic victory secured under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, which laid the foundations of the modern Turkish Republic. Pakistan joins its Turkish brothers and sisters in honouring this proud legacy of courage and national resolve.

The bonds between Pakistan and Türkiye are bonds of the heart, forged over centuries of shared faith, history and struggle. Today our two nations have reaffirmed this strategic expression of enduring brotherhood through the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, which binds our two nations, alongside the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in our shared pursuit of common security and collective deterrence.

Pakistan remains unflinching in its commitment to further deepening its strategic partnership with Türkiye across all domains for the shared prosperity and security of our two nations.

I spoke with Prime Minister Balendra Shah of Nepal this afternoon to convey my heartfelt condolences over the tragic loss of precious lives and widespread devastation caused by the recent flash floods and landslides.

Pakistan stands in complete solidarity with the Government and people of Nepal in this difficult hour. I assured Prime Minister Shah of our full support and conveyed that Pakistan is dispatching emergency relief assistance to contribute to the ongoing relief efforts.

I would also like to once again commend President Trump for his courageous and decisive leadership, which helped avert a nuclear catastrophe in South Asia and saved millions of lives.

پاکستان اور بیرون ملک مقیم تمام اہل وطن کو دل کی اتھاہ گہرائیوں سے یومِ آزادی کی خوشیاں مبارک!

آج پاکستان کی آزادی کے 79 سال مکمل ہونے کے پُرمسرت موقع پر تمام اہل وطن کو دلی مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہوں۔ صد شکر کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہمیں مملکت خداداد کی صورت میں آزادی جیسی گرانقدر نعمت سے نوازا۔

یہ امر ہمارے لیۓ باعثِ عزت و افتخار ہے کہ جدوجہد آزادی میں بابائے قوم قائداعظم محمد علی جناح، مفکر پاکستان، شاعر مشرق علامہ محمد اقبال اور متعدد عظیم و بے مثل رہنماء شامل تھے۔ آج ہم من حیث القوم تحریک آزادی کے قائدین، کارکنان اور اسلافِ ملت کو ��لام پیش کرتے ہیں۔

قائدِاعظم محمد علی جناح کی مدبرانہ اور بصیرت افروز قیادت،ہمارے آباو اجداد کی عظیم قربانیاں، *تحریک آزادی کے رہنماوں کا غیرمتزلزل عزم اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی بے پایہ فضل و کرم کی بدولت آزاد مملکت کا خواب شرمندہِ تعبیر ہوا۔

تحریک آزادی کے تمام رہنماؤں کی ولولہ انگیز سیاسی جدوجہد نے مسلمانان ہند کو آزاد وطن کے نصب العین پر متحد کیا۔ ہمارے آباو اجداد نے لازوال قربانیوں، صعوبتوں اور تکالیف کی داستان رقم کی اور جدوجہد آزادی کامیابی سے ہمکنار ہوئی۔

14 اگست 1947ء کو ہمیں ایسی سر زمین میسر ہوئی جہاں ہم آزاد قوم کی حیثیت سے عزت و وقار اور دین و تہذیبی اقدار کے مطابق زندگی استوار کر سکیں۔ سرزمینِ پاکستان اسلامی تعلیمات اور باباۓ قوم کے نظریات کے تابع تمام شہریوں کے لئے بلا تفریقِ رنگ و نسل مکمل آزادی کی ضمانت ہے۔ آئین و قوانینِ پاکستان تمام شہریوں کے حقوق کے ضامن ہیں۔

آزاد مملکت کی ترقی و خوشحالی کا یہ سفر اللہ تعالیٰ کے فضل و کرم سے آزمائشوں کے باوجود تابناک مستقبل کی جانب گامزن ہے۔ اہل وطن نے گزشتہ تمام ترمشکلات کے باوجود ہر شعبہ زندگی میں اپنی خداداد صلاحیتوں کی بدولت کامیابیاں سمیٹیں۔
دفاع وطن، معیشت، صنعت و حرفت، عدلیہ، میڈیا، کھیل، تعلیم و ہنر، علماء، دانشور، اساتذہ، سائنسدان، زراعت و کاشتکاری بشمول عصر حاضر کے جدید شعبہ جات میں پاکستانی مرد و خواتین نے اپنی کاوشوں سے عزم وہمت کے باب رقم کئے۔
ہمارے باصلاحیت نوجوان، ہنر مند افرادی قوت، بہترین پیشہ ور ماہرین، جفا کش کسان اور محنت کش مزدور ملک و قوم کے تابندہ مستقبل کے ضامن ہیں۔
حکومت پاکستان نے گزشتہ ڈھائی سالوں میں نہایت مشکل مراحل عبور کر کے مستحکم معیشت کا ہدف حاصل کیا ہے اور اب ترقی یافتہ معیشت کی منزل کی جانب کامیابی سے گامزن ہے۔

جدید انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی سے لیس�� جدت سے آراستہ دیر پا صنعتی و زرعی ترقی، عوامی فلاح وبہبود کے منصوبے، روزگار کے مواقع، عالمی معیار کا تعلیم وہنر کا نظام ہماری اولین ترجیحات میں شامل ہیں۔

ہماری بہادر افواج نے ہر مشکل میں، دشمن کے ہر وار کے جواب میں مادر وطن کے دفاع کو ناقابلِ تسخیر ثابت کیا ہے۔پاکستان اپنی جری افواج پر فخر کرتا ہے۔ معرکۂ حق میں مسلح افواج نے،فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر کی قیادت میں اتحاد، عزم اور بے مثال بہادری کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے وطنِ عزیز کے دفاع اور سربلندی کی نئی تاریخ رقم کی۔

پاکستان اپنے دفاع اور آبی وسائل سمیت قومی مفادات کے تحفظ کے لئے کسی قربانی سے دریغ نہیں کرے گا۔

��ج پاکستان اقوام عالم میں ایک مضبوط، پُرعزم، باوقار اور امن کی توانا آواز کے طور پہچانا جاتا ہے۔

خطے کی مشکل اور چیلنجنگ علاقائی صورتحال میں پاکستان ایک ذمہ دار اور خطے میں استحکام کا ضامن ملک بن کر ابھرا ہے، جو امن، استحکام اور علاقائی تعا��ن کے فروغ میں تعمیری کردار ادا کر رہا ہے۔

پاکستان، سعودی عرب اور ترکیہ کے مابین مکہ مکرمہ میں طے پانے والا مشترکہ دفاعی معاہدہ خطے میں پاکستان کے بڑھتے ہوئے تزویراتی کردار اور ابھرتی ہوئی قوت کا اہم مظہر ہے۔

پاکستان، مظلوم فلسطینی عوام اور جموں و کشمیر کے اپنے بہنوں اور بھائیوں سے مکمل اظہار یکجہتی کرتا ہے اور انکے لئے اپنی غیر متزلزل اصولی حمایت کا اعادہ کرتا ہے۔ جنوبی ایشیاء میں پائیدار امن کی ضمانت جموں وکشمیر کے اقوام متحدہ کی قراردادوں کے مطابق، عالمی قوانین اور کشمیریوں کی امنگوں کے مطابق سفارتی حل میں پوشیدہ ہے۔

آج یوم آزادی پر قوم اپنے تمام شہداء کو بھی دلی خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتی ہے جنہوں نے وطن عزیز کے لیے اپنی قیمتی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کیا۔

آئیے، آج کے دن اپنے قومی عزم کی تجدید کریں کہ ہم یک جان ہو کر سرزمینِ پاکستان کی ترقی وخوشحالی ،امن و استحکام اور باہمی ہم آہنگی اور یگانگت کے لیے بھرپور انداز میں کام کریں گے۔

اللہ تعالیٰ پاکستان کو دنیا میں عزت و وقار کی علامت بنائے اور کامیابیوں سے مزین درخشندہ مستقبل نصیب فرماۓ، آمین

وزیرِ اعظم محمد شہباز شریف نے قومی اتحاد وحدت ،یکجہتی اور دفاع وطن کے عزم مصمم کی علامت یادگار فتح کی افتتاحی تقریب میں شرکت کی اور خطاب کیا. صدر مملکت آصف علی زرداری اور وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف نے یادگار فتح کا افتتا�� کیا۔ اس موقع پر نائب وزیراعظم و وزیر خارجہ محمد اسحاق ڈار،چیئرمین سینیٹ سید یوسف رضا گیلانی، سپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق، چیف آف آرمی سٹاف و چیف آف ڈیفنس فورسز فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر اور مسلح افواج کی قیادت، سروسز چیفس، چیف جسٹس آف پاکستان جسٹس یحییٰ آفریدی، وفاقی وزرا ء،غیر ملکی سفارت کاروں، پنجاب اور خیبر پختونخوا کے گورنرز،وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف، ارکان پارلیمنٹ اور بڑی تعداد میں سول وعسکری حکام موجود تھے۔

وزیراعظم نے کہا کہ وہ پوری قوم کو جشن آزادی کی مبارکباد پیش کرتے ہیں۔یادگار فتح ہمارے عزم و ہمت، مسلح افواج کی مہارت اور برتری کی علامت ہے۔ وزیراعظم نے معرکہ حق میں عظیم کامیابی پر صمیم قلب سے قوم کو مبارکباد دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ معرکہ حق میں کامیابی پر فیلڈ مارشل سیّد عاصم منیر کو خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں جنہوں نے دشمن کی آنکھوں میں آنکھیں ڈال کر اس کا غرور خا�� میں ملا دیا، یہ معرکہ تاریخ کا ناقابل فراموش باب ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ معرکہ حق کی کامیابی میں پاک فضائیہ اور پاک بحریہ کے سربراہان کی قیادت میں افواج کا کردار لائق تحسین ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ 8 ماہ کے قلیل عرصے میں یادگار فتح کی شاندار تعمیر فیلڈ مارشل کی ذاتی دلچسپی کا نتیجہ ہے،یہ یادگار فتح قومی اتحاد کی علامت ہے۔

وزیراعظم نے کہا کہ معرکہ حق میں کامیابی نےقوم کا سر فخر سےبلند کر دیا۔ دشمن معرکہ حق میں عبرتناک شک��ت ہمیشہ یاد رکھےگا۔ انہوں نےمعرکہ حق کے شہداء کو خراج عقیدت اور اور غازیوں کو بھی خراج تحسین پیش کیا۔وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ پاکستان کی امن کی خواہش کو کمزوری نہ سمجھا جائے۔ ہم خطےمیں امن و استحکام کی ضمانت بن چکے ہیں ۔ 2025ء کے معرکے کا پیغام پوری دنیا میں پہنچ چکا ہے.

وزیر اعظم نےکہا کہ بھارت نےسندھ طاس معاہدے کو یکطرفہ اور غیر قانونی طور پر معطل کرکےخود کو امن کا دشمن ثابت کیا ہے۔ انہوں نے اعلان کیا کہ پاکستان کے پانی کی ایک ایک بوند ہماری ریڈ لائن ہے۔ پانی کے معاملے پر کوئی سمجھوتہ نہیں ہوگا۔ بھارت اگر راہ راست پر نہ آیا تو اسےبراہ راست جواب دیں گے.

وزیر اعظم نے نئی نسل کو ترقی کے نئے مواقع کی فراہمی کو حکومت کی ترجیح قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ معاشی ترقی کو جدید ٹیکنالوجی سے ہم آہنگ کرنا ہے.وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ ہماری کوشش ہے کہ دنیا نئے تنازعات سے محفوظ رہے۔ہم تنازعات کو اقوام متحدہ کے اصولوں اور انصاف کے تقاضوں کےمطابق حل کرنے کی خواہش رکھتے ہیں۔اسی جذبے سے پاکستان نے ایران-امریکہ جنگ کےخاتمے کےلئے اپنا کردار ادا کیا۔ اس سلسلے میں ��یلڈ مارشل کا تاریخی کردار ہمیشہ یاد رکھا جائے گا۔

وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ پاکستان نے گزشتہ سال برادر اسلامی ملک سعودی عرب سے دفاعی معاہدہ کیا ۔حال ہی میں پاکستان، سعودی عرب اور ترکیہ نے مکہ مشترکہ دفاعی معاہدے پر دستخط کئے۔ یہ دفاعی معاہدہ عالم اسلام کے لئے امن کی نوید اور دنیا میں استحکام کی علامت ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان فلسطینیوں کے حقوق کے لئے اپنے اصولی موقف پر قائم ہے۔ ہم ان کے حق خود ارادیت اور مسئلہ فلسطین کے منصفانہ حل کی اور پائیدار امن کیلئے اپنی حمایت جاری رکھیں گے.

وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ افغانستان میں ہم امن و استحکام چاہتے ہیں لیکن افغانستان کی سر��مین کا دہشت گردی کیلئے استعمال ناقابل برداشت ہے۔ افغان قیادت کو مخلصانہ مشورہ ہے کہ وہ اپنی سرزمین کو دہشت گردوں کی پناہ گاہ بننے سے فی الفور روکے۔ وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ چین اور پاکستان کی دوستی ہمالیہ سے بلند اور چٹان سے زیادہ مضبوط ہے۔ چین ہر مشکل وقت میں پاکستان کے ساتھ چٹان کی طرح کھڑا رہا ہے۔ انہوں نے پاکستان اور بھارت کے درمیان جنگ بندی میں صدر ٹرمپ کے کردار کو لائق تحسین قرار دیا اور کہا کہ آنے والے وقت میں پاکستان اور امریکہ کے تعلقات مزید مضبوط ہوں گے۔

وزیرِ اعظم نے سعودی عرب، قطر، کویت ، ترکیہ، آذربائیجان اور دیگر برادر اسلامی ممالک کے تعاون کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور کہا کہ ان سےہمارے تعلقات پھلتے پھولتے رہیں گے۔وزیراعظم نے زور دیا کہ جنگ کی طرح امن کے وقت میں بھی قوم اتحاد کا مظاہرہ کرے۔ اختلافات بھلا کر نفرتوں کو ختم کریں اور بھائی چارے کو فروغ دیں۔ انہوں نےزور دیا کہ آج قوم اپنے فرائض دیانتداری محنت اور لگن سےادا کرنے کا عہد کرے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یادگار فتح کے بظاہر ساکت نظر آنے والے ستون قوم کےجذبہ تعمیر کی ترجمانی کرتے ہیں ۔یہ جذبہ تعمیر آج سب چہروں پر بھی نظر آرہا ہے اور ہمارے روشن مستقبل کی نوید ہے.
