@MuseumCommodore Yes, I am one! I actually worked at the CAT (Technical Support Center)—the one shown in the ad posted here—working alongside Divino Leitão as a technical consultant. I owned an Amiga 500 and an Amiga 600 from PCI.

AMIGA IN BRAZIL #2
Did you know the Commodore Amiga was heavily restricted in Brazil?
In the 1980s, Brazil’s “reserva de mercado” (informatics market reserve) strictly limited official imports of foreign computers.
As a result, Amigas — especially the popular Amiga 500 (1987) — mostly arrived via gray-market imports, specialized resellers, or personal imports in the late ’80s and early ’90s.
They were never widely available officially and remained relatively exclusive.
Only later, around 1992–93, did PCI Componentes da Amazônia get the exclusive license to manufacture and distribute Amigas in Brazil, starting with the Amiga 600 (followed by the A1200, A4000, and CD32).
Any Brazilian Amiga owners still out there on X?
@hirlandia Pergunta difícil, acho que Marçal pode ser um novo Doria, votar no Nunes pode ser jogar o voto fora e eleger a Bolos, bem difícil de decidir… infelizmente…
