Roblox is having a MASSIVE false positive AI ban wave which is affecting tens of thousands of Roblox players worldwide. Be extremely careful with what you say, even what you think is allowed could get flagged, for example, I've seen the word "dollhouse" get hundreds of people banned for "terrorism/extremism"
I personally have lost $25,000+ worth of robux, limiteds, and other items from my accounts collectively. I was banned for harmful content/behavior and given 3 chat evidence IDs that tell me nothing about why I was banned. Upon emailing their support for more information, I learned it was allegedly voice chat related and child endangerment. What's contradictory though here is that Roblox displayed three chat evidence IDs for my ban, but then claimed that it was actually voice chat activity in the following email? This is how I know something is wrong.

Now it's been 32 days since I've been banned, not yet have I received a response to my initial in app appeal, or a human response which I've asked for numerous times in support tickets. The appeal window is now "closed" and I'm left stranded, and so are tens of thousands of others who share the same fate as me yet aren't on X posting about it.

I’m still surprised that Roblox hasn’t fixed or even publicly addressed this issue. There have been countless posts on X and the DevForum about it, and it has been happening for at least 2–3 months now, yet Roblox still hasn’t taken any action.

Roblox Support has also been completely useless. You either would get ignored or most of the responses seem to be automated, copy & paste messages rather than genuine attempts to carefully review each ticket. I’m honestly very confident that many support agents don’t even read most of what people say in their ticket. I understand that they probably receive thousands of tickets every day, but it feels like they’re more focused on getting through as many tickets as possible rather than thoroughly reviewing each case and the evidence provided. I’ve never seen a ban wave as bad as this one, especially since so many of the bans appear to be false, with users being banned for enforcement violations or child safety/endangerment when their actions have nothing to do with those reasons.

@Roblox AI moderation is going out of hand. There are many users being falsely banned for child endangerment, linked to an ALT, or for no whatever reason. My account "Zander_Death" is also affected by these false bans. We must gather the voices of the victims to let them see this

So not only did Roblox’s awful AI moderation ban my brother’s account because they thought he was my “alt”.

They just now banned my poor little sister’s account for being linked to me, the only thing shared between us is our wifi. Beware of using the same WiFi as someone who is banned, or else you may be next.

@Roblox this is genuinely outrageous and needs to stop, my whole family is now falsely banned from Roblox and for 60 days I’ve had no support from a human.

My 14 year old Roblox account "MrMoonlighxt" got banned for being "linked to an account" I have never heard of nor used before. It seems as though hundreds of other people have also being indiscriminately banned for this same reason over the past couple of weeks.

I've spent over $1,000 on microtransactions over the years, all the way from buying gift cards to get builders club in 2014 to having a recurring roblox plus subscription as an adult. I am an investor in ROBLOX and own about $40,000 worth of stock. To say that I was shocked when I logged in to see this message would be an understatement.

I've seen claims and reports of people being false banned before but it never really hits you how infuriating it is until it happens to you. Their AI moderation flags you for some specious false positive, and they do not even manually review nor ask you for further details before banning your veteran account.

They do not even have the courtesy to send you an email or warning, you just log in one day to see poof your account is gone! I have been deeply involved with ROBLOX for almost 2/3rds of my life, it is easily the game I have cleared the most hours on by an order of magnitude, I used to make YouTube videos, used to develop games, used to trade limiteds, spent hundreds of dollars on Robux- none of this stuff is considered when their AI moderation system decides to ban you!

I am asking to have my appeal looked into. I have sent several emails and gotten no response in the past few days. If this issue is not resolved, I will move on for the platform for good, sell all my stock and be done with it all and ROBLOX will never make another cent from me. @Roblox

I wanted to give everyone an update on my Roblox ban. I did get my account back. This is in reference to the false bans that have been going around for "linked-accounts." If you want to know what I did, I can't give you an exact solution but I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, and the FTC.

I currently reside in New Jersey so if you don't live in the US and that particular state, I don't think you can use it.

My ban was on October 10th and I only submitted two tickets which both appeals were rejected as seen in the screenshot.

My unban could of ban one of three reasons: my social media following, Roblox is unbanning the false bans or the complaints I submitted.

Thank you Roblox for unbanning me in a timely manner and I can't wait to start posting videos again!

I got banned for a roblox ai moderation mistake, I had posted a clothing asset and it got removed it was a zip up shirt that said "nihilism" and it was a 7 day ban. I appealed like an idiot. 7 day ban into a termination
