For fun, here's the strip of the highest resolution images of Pluto obtained by New Horizons, the p_mvic_lorri_ca sequence, which comprises 36 LORRI images. I wove these into a long strip, deconvolved the PSF, and took out a gradient. Here I've sliced it into 6 pieces.

The "wings" of the Butterfly Nebula may appear to be covered in snow & ice in this Chandra and Hubble image, but looks can be deceiving. The wings are actually scorching hot regions of gas at temperatures over 20,000 °C that are traveling at more than 950,000 kilometers per hour.
