The showing of “Russians at War” by the Antenna Documentary Film Festival in Australia should be stopped. The representation of soldiers who have systemically and deliberately raped, looted, tortured, burned, kidnapped and murdered their way through #Ukraine (100K war crimes and counting) as ‘just normal soldiers’ is factually untrue and pure Russian propaganda. You cannot humanise this behaviour, only punish it. What’s next - a doco on why the Gestapo and SS were just misunderstood? Some moral leadership on this issue from our elected leaders would help.
