if you watched the NFL and thought something didn't feel right, you're not alone:
#1 most flags in over a decade
thru 4 weeks, refs are impacting the most CRITICAL moments of games most:
#1 most red zone penalties per game by offenses in history
#1 most penalties on 3rd/4th downs in the second half of games in history
and 17 touchdowns nullified by penalty! (vs only 5 in 2025 & 4 in 2024)
Refs are impacting the most important moments of games unlike we've ever seen before in the NFL, and even some of the coaches are speaking up

Here’s a clip of Gronk’s injury in 2015 that ended up being a Grade 1 knee strain.
He pounded the ground, rolled around, and yelled for 2 minutes. He only missed ONE game.
This was your reaction, @stoolpresidente.
@312sportsguy Ironically reading what it sounds like the state came up with is fucking the tax payers harder than what was initially proposed. Good ol IL politicians.
@312sportsguy I’m just going to continue to assume what I do about anyone crying about taxes going to the bears stadium. Your ignorant. It’s not all your fault; the media has told you this is the story so you believe it, but it’s simply not true that tax payers are funding stadium construction
@312sportsguy Brookings is a commentary about how Stadiums might not be the most economic compared to other uses for property. I see no discussion about the support businesses that a stadium, especially one in Arlington heights, would create. It’s also from 1997 which leads me to believe…
@312sportsguy Billionaire team tells the state they are going to finance the entire stadium and construction. Need tax certainty (for financing terms) and help with infrastructure in surrounding towns that benefits those towns anyway. Where’s the problem?
