@pntrack Fun view of my son’s (2nd leg) 8th grade 4x100 team courtesy @ReuterMyron They set the school record with a 48.63 on their home track and broke it again the following week at the Wisconsin Middle School State Track & Field Meet with a 48.12.
@pntrack Sun was out, temp above 70, & records fell. Proud of these boys. Set the 7th grade records last year (51.96, 1:50.52) & completed the sweep last night dropping the 22 year-old 4x1 by .45 and the 4x2 by 3.41 seconds. All are 3 sport athletes but still have time to be kids
@pntrack Never burn the steak! It’s the coach’s job to act with restraint and prioritize rest. I have a sophomore athlete on our girl’s team running a 12.65, long jumping 17-6, and part of Regional leading 4x1 and 4x2 teams. Tough decisions will need to be made to put health first.
Almost time⏳
No 40s, no shuttles, no broad jumps….just football, film, and more football. We believe we’re different. Come see why 💪🏼

@pntrack Coach, any words of wisdom for a group of three sprinters who have been part of dropping the baton in the final exchange in the 4x100 the last two years with a trip to state on the line?
