@MikeCunningham@TexasTrackDad Agree. Track isn’t a one size fits all sport. The way one person does may not work for another. One kid may not get looks from a relay and another might. Kids should run open events because it is a team sport with individual events but relays also matter to an extent
@TexasTrackDad Yes exactly! The relay is sometimes the catalyst that invites those coaches into the conversation. Especially when the kid is a huge no name. I only know this because that was my story. So in my opinion a relay isn’t just for entertainment purposes but another opportunity
@I_Coach_Speed@ItsMadisonPotts Got it! Looks messy to me! So if you don’t agree with a coaching decision you take to social media, tag the kid where her teammates can see, throw shade on some relays, and don’t even tag the coach? Minstry shouldn’t be messy. Anyways good luck the rest of the season
@I_Coach_Speed@ItsMadisonPotts I can dig it! I was in the personal training/club track scene for many years and now in the public school world and one thing I can say for sure is publicly and passively aggressively addressing a coach won’t create a collaborative atmosphere that you may be seeking
The First of our uncommitted seniors that we would like to highlight is Micah Tucker! She is a coaches dream!! She has the full package in athletic ability and in the classroom. Please DM for contact info and more information.
