Congratulations to 90 @DsmEast seniors who were presented with more than $200K in scholarships yesterday morning. And thank you to the EHS Alumni Foundation for your generous support of the next steps to be taken by your future alums! See more at https://t.co/u6tZdKu3r1
Masculinity isn't toxic
When men are threatened and are weak mentally and physically then they are toxic
Masculine men can also be empathetic, understanding, patient, kind, loving, to go along with confident, self-aware, and strong
Anna Gossling is officially a Viking. Getting a 2 x state champ, 1st team all stater, and captain of the 5A All tourney team; signed, sealed, and delivered! Congrats Anna!👏
I’ve been asked a couple times how to handle coaches who insist on delivering sub-par programs.
Truth is sometimes all you can do is offer your expertise and hope it’s taken. But it might not be.
Just do YOUR best work. Get results for YOUR teams. Build trust with EVERYONE.
Put an unqualified person in a math class and you might not be able to add correctly, put an unqualified person in a weight-room and you might not be able to walk correctly.

If the weight room was looked at as a classroom, every high school would have one.
But just having one isn’t enough. You wouldn’t have a science lab with no science teacher.
While weight rooms are important, having a qualified strength coach is even more important.
Until we treat Strength and Conditioning as a serious and specialized practice we will continue to see horrendous and dangerous programs.
Can’t afford a S&C coach? Most coaches I know would love to support programs seeking out qualified help.
Please take care of our kids.
High school athletes have been through some of the weirdest, most frustrating and confusing times the last 2 years.
A coach who doesn’t have the ability to see their athletes and I mean REALLY SEE them …
Is going to miss an opportunity that kid needs you to not miss.
