It is very seductive logic to say that the practice of #jauhar was anti-feminist, and it elevates the concept of योनीशुचिता. Fact is, Muslim invaders to India were brutal, cruel bastards who enjoyed inflicting pain and humiliation on Hindu women.

Captured Hindu women were not merely r@ped once, they were passed around from harem to harem, made to work as slaves during the day and sex slaves during the night.

It was a fate worse than death, because you had to endure gang r@pes for the rest of your lives. Even children were not spared. Hindu boys were forcibly turned into eunuchs, Hindu girls as young as six or seven were r@ped by 50 year old men.

Also, did anyone wonder why Rajput women chose to jump into a fire pit to end their lives?
