🍷 Gianluigi Buffon was chosen as 'The Best Goalkeeper of all time' by a committee consisting of 18 goalkeepers including Manuel Neuer, Júlio César and Peter Schmeichel. 🧤

Do you agree with that decision? 🐐

[Italian Football TV @IFTVofficial]

Buffon is awarded the UEFA President's Award winner for 2024 👋🥇

No goalkeeper has a career like Gigi

@D3Direct @SewaneeTigers @BerryVikings @BMCathletics @KenyonSports @SwatAthletics @SalveAthletics It’s tough to beat Covenant College in terms of beauty. I’m shocked we’re not on top of the list.

Tucked away on Lookout Mountain, GA with a short 10-15 minute drive into Chattanooga, TN.

@sykzo When is the next sykz stream?

[Coach Buzz ⚽️ @CoachBuzzeo]

This is a great list! We encourage all of our recruits to stay the night with our guys. The people you are with will shape who you become and your entire college experience. We take great care in building our culture. It starts with visits and building relationships!

[D3Direct @D3Direct]

Before you commit👇

1. Visit campus
2. Explore the town/city
3. Research potential majors
4. Play pick-up or lift w/ the team
5. Negotiate your financial aid offer
6. Stay overnight w/ current players

what'd we miss?

INSANE SOLO GOAL FROM MATTIA LIBERALI VS U17 ENGLAND 😱🇮🇹

The 17 year old Italian RW lit it UP.

On this day in 2003, Juventus beat the Real Madrid Galacticos 3-1 with goals from Del Piero, Trezeguet and Nedved. And that save from Buffon. What. A. Night.

[JuveFC @juvefcdotcom]

In the summer of 2006, Pavel Nedved, Gigi Buffon, Alessandro Del Piero, Mauro Camoranesi and David Trezeguet all received offers from many clubs but preferred to reduce their salaries in order to stay at Juventus and help them get back to Serie A 🤍🖤

Barzagli tells a rather surprising story about Andrea Pirlo who played a few matches only with his left foot. Pirlo explains that he had sprained his right knee.

Pirlo, a genius. Maestro 🔥

Grateful for Allegri, but grateful for the change. It was needed.

Fino alle fine!

[Sebastiano Sarno @Seby_Sarno_]

🚨EXCL:#Juventus has made its choice. He has already accepted.

🇪🇸🗣️ Héctor Bellerín on modern football: "It is becoming every day something more elitist, in my opinion."

"Having the World Cup in 3 different countries makes it more difficult for fans to follow their nation."

"We are losing a little bit of the essence of what football truly is and who are the people that actually make football, which is the people who follow us and watch us every weekend." (BBC)

Megaclubs are bad for the soccer ecosystem in this country

They also allow bad coaches to hide behind a massive influx of players (where it's almost impossible to get it wrong).

[Italian Football TV @IFTVofficial]

“Those players who need to be motivated can stay home, I don’t motivate anyone.

If I call players up and then I have to motivate them too it means I chose the wrong player.

You’re wearing the Italian National Team jersey, the most beautiful shirt of them all, you need to motivate yourself.”

🗣 Luciano Spalletti 🇮🇹👏

[Italian Football TV @IFTVofficial]

Marchisio is the ULTIMATE Juventino 🤍🖤

“I received offers from Roma and Milan, but I promised not just to the fans, but above all to myself, young Claudio, not to wear any other shirt in Italy.”

He even TURNED DOWN Real Madrid when he was just 21 years old:

“I was 21, I just started playing in Juventus’ senior team and Fabio Capello, who was the Real Madrid coach wanted me.

I said no because I wanted to play in my favorite team, in front of my parents, in my city.”

Happy 38th Birthday to Il Principino - Bianconero through and through 🎂

Dear Parents ✏️

The coach screaming incessantly on the sidelines is NOT necessarily more passionate or more capable than the quiet coach; he is just louder.

And if the coaches/ program isn’t all about showing off the quality of personality and character they have on their team, then that’s a sign in itself.

[Coach Buzz ⚽️ @CoachBuzzeo]

This is so true! Better yet, get to know some of the players. If it weren’t for my teammates, I wouldn’t have become the man I am today. Their friendship drew me to the school and kept me there when I blew out my knee. Fall in love with the culture and community of a school.

[D3Direct @D3Direct]

Don't commit to a school to play a sport if you don't like the school.
