This evening, I enjoyed watching the annual Little Wildcats 5th Grade basketball game at @HumbleISD_HE. The kids competed hard with great sportsmanship! Thank you Coach @KrisKirkwood5 for all you do for kids and teaching basketball fundamentals. Also, thank you Mrs.Hernandez for always inviting @Humblebball to support and serve your students. It’s a GREAT day to be a Wildcat!

When I arrived at @HumbleISD_HHS 4 years ago, @KobeLacy2026 was a freshman. He is the only kid remaining in our program who has been with me from day one, all 4 years on varsity. He went through the struggle, stayed solid, and never switched up. He ignored the negativity, kept the faith, and led a complete program turnaround that many said couldn’t be done. This is one of the hardest working and most coachable players I’ve ever coached and he’s just scratching the surface. Congratulations Kobe!
