@Blackspliff305@swishwavii@_DarriusTheGawd@earthdweller73 Young team. If they look like this in game 17 fire everyone, look at the first year of Flores. The beginning of the season it was a mess, and they came together towards the end. That’s what we need to be evaluating this year
@NYGFORLIFE52@3YardsPerCarry@AnthonyGros13 I will say 3YPC is one of the more objective fins pages. I would trust that the giants offense wasn’t “great” but again it’s just one man’s opinion on a practice that no one will remember in two weeks
@jeffreylmarshal@NFL_DF He did okay, but he didn’t handle him “very well” lot of TE and Rb chips, lot of plays where there was no interior rush so the qb was able to step up comfortably. It wasn’t terrible, but they had a gameplan against Bain and it showed
@DWildemuth@FinsPhanatics That’s fair. Theres is a chance it was a slide right with a chip on Garrett. Even in that case brewer slid right so Jonah needs to slide with him. My guess would be Achane was supposed to step up in that gap.
@DWildemuth@FinsPhanatics Watch brewer slide right, looks like that was the protection call and Paul missed it. I don’t think the free rusher is on Jonah
Truth is Herbert didn’t shrug this off so much as JP took a bad angle. He’s a 3 tech rushing as if he’s an edge. Once he beats the guard he needs to re establish his rush more inside to prevent herb stepping up. Instead he flys by him and knocks chop off his path too.
@PerfectionIs111 I agree his footwork coulda been better, but we don’t know if waddle ran this route correctly, if he cut a few yards early, that could make it look “overthrown”. Remember a big part of Tua’s game is throwing to spots, and trusting the receiver will be there
@OLCoachSmith63@phillipdilling1 Agreed, def looks like a half slide, I just don’t know why Jonah was so agressive protecting his outside gap, knowing he most likely had no help to his inside
@OLCoachSmith63 To piggyback off of that look at Paul’s slide, feet stay even about shoulder width apart the whole time, Jonah slides that front foot closer to the back losing all power and putting himself off balance. Good news is that’s fixable lol
