You can't pour from an empty cup.
Coaches, parents, teachers, and leaders you can't effectively serve others if you're not taking care of your own health first. Power up with protein + produce. Eat balanced meals for balanced energy and blood sugar.
If you're relying on sugary energy drinks to get through the day, candy bars, skipping meals, or grabbing fast food because you're unprepared, it's time to give yourself the same advice you give your athletes:
✔️ Plan ahead.
✔️ Eat balanced meals.
✔️ Fuel consistently.
✔️ Take 5-10 min walks.
✔️ Get a workout in.
✔️ Less time on phones.
✔️ Prioritize your health.
I say this with love. If you want your children, athletes, students, or clients to develop healthy habits, they need to see those habits modeled by you.
Leadership starts with leading yourself well.
Here's a simple sample menu to help fuel your energy, support your health, and empower you to show up as your best every day!!🫶
