If the institution falls below the average county grade for the institutions grade level equivalents they should be barred from being an option for tax payer funded vouchers.
Of course this is my own opinion and not in anyway a reflection of my employer.
I’m taking a new approach to vouchers.
If you are given a voucher to enroll your child in a private, charter, or home school the institution that you are enrolling your child into should automatically be held to the same standard as the institutions that are also government fund
ed.
This means at minimum, those schools should be required to take state testing and publicly report the student results so that their schools can be graded. Tax payer dollars should immediately equate to quantifiable data that proves the money is going to “better” institutions
