Players,
If your coach moves you to a different position, don’t take it personally.
He’s probably not moving you away from the field, he’s trying to find the spot that gives you the best chance to get on it.
Trust the process. Compete.
@TheGridironHQ OL. Many reasons. 5 players every play. You have to be able to coach players to multiple spots on the line. The desire for kids to WANT to play line is less than other positions. You have to coach hard but still make it fun even when your group gets all the blame but no praise.
Small public school 3-sport athlete going to play D-1. Turns out you don’t need large or private school, travel leagues, or early specialization. If you’re good enough, they’ll find you.
Congrats @CadenConsidine1 on the Illinois State record for runs scored in a career at 222! This record stood for over 40 years! Driven in by his good buddy and UNC commit @andrewtalbert27 Awesome!
Rule of Thumb: If you’re an 8-3 teacher with no involvement outside that timeframe..don’t share opinions about any extracurriculars at your school, specifically on athlete’s performance or coaching..go grade your papers..don’t comment on things just to be a cancer
HS sports:
Lifting with your team 2x/wk in the off-season doesn’t always guarantee you will win a title. It just increases your likelihood of success.
But not training with your team 2x/wk in the off-season almost always guarantee that you will not win a title. It wildly decreases your chances of success.
