Josh McKee (Tecumseh HS) rewrote the record books at Wittenberg, totaling 218 catches, 3,768 receiving yards & an NCAC-record 44 TDs. A DIII All-American, he led the Tigers to the 2010 NCAC title and also played basketball at Witt.

Steve Drongowski (Kent Roosevelt HS) helped lead Wittenberg to the 1973 NCAA DIII National Championship as a tri-captain. A 5x First-Team All-American and 1973 OAC Most Valuable Offensive Lineman, he was inducted into the Witt Hall of Honor in 1991.

Dustin Goldsbury (Bishop Ready HS/Columbus, OH) totaled 339 tackles & 39.5 TFLs while helping lead Wittenberg to a 44–5 record, 3 NCAC titles & NCAA wins every season. Only Tiger to earn 1st-team all-conference all 4 years. Hall of Honor Class of 2024.

Scott “Muddy” Watters set Wittenberg records with 164 tackles in a season and 472 in his career. A 2x MVP, 3x All-OAC, and 1986 All-American, he won the Lee Tressel Award as Ohio’s top player and was inducted into the Hall of Honor in 2004.
