The last game I watched with my Dad was a season ending loss as his health faded. It’s 1 year since he went to heaven & our team is playing Game 1 in the World Series! I miss him daily & would have loved to watched the Series with him…but heaven is better by far! #goodforhim ⚾️

🗣️ Kemba Walker on Kon Knueppel: "He's an old-school type of kid. An ultimate pro. Comes into work every single day and really gets down to business. Just a good dude, and that right there says a lot about his parents and about him."

"I expect him to have another great year. He's gonna make a jump. He's gonna have to do some different things for us this year, which will be fun to see. His game will evolve."

Nick Saban says he had lived his entire life like he was in a hurry and didn’t even realize it

“When I retired, and I don’t know if I ever shared this with anybody, I spent 50 years of my life being in a hurry and didn’t know it.”

“I retired and the cars are backed up on the bridge and it goes down to one lane. In the old days, I would be the guy that passed all the cars up and cut in at the last minute in front of somebody.”

“I sat there with Miss Terry in the car. She says, ‘You mean you’re not going to pass everybody illegally and cut in?’ I said, ‘We’re not in a hurry.’”

“But it’s the first time when I retired that I realized that I wasn’t in a hurry. And I was in a hurry for 50 years and didn’t know it.”

“I was always hurrying up to the next thing. Solve the next problem, go to the next thing. And you talk about relieving stress, that relieves stress better than anything. I just noticed it in that circumstance. Not cutting into traffic and waiting my turn.”

I asked #Illini head coach Brad Underwood about freshman Zavier Zens:

"Tremendous shooter, great strength, great frame... I'm excited for what he brings... There's nothing that he [does] on the court that isn't about winning."

One of the most fun stories I’ve done of late. Kon Knueppel @Kon2Knueppel came home recently. And all 5 Knueppel brothers did what they did growing up. Playing pickup games on the “Konplex.” We show you all the fun 9 & 10 @CBS58
