GREAT TEAMS HAVE GREAT TEAMMATES!
Talk about BELIEVE…I want to believe like this!
June 6, 1944 D-DAY
Photo called "Into the Jaws of Death" taken on this day in 1944.
36 men, on the initial storming into the water at Omaha Beach in Normandy.
100 pound backpacks.
Rough seas.
Shores were mined…barbed wire hidden.
Germans shooting from bluffs on high.
Began planning for attack one year earlier in 1943.
The weather on the day selected for D-Day was not ideal, and the operation had to be delayed 24 hours; a further postponement would have meant a delay of at least two weeks, as the planners had requirements for the phase of the moon, the tides, and time of day, that meant only a few days each month were deemed suitable.
Allied casualties were at least 10,000, with 4,414 confirmed dead.
How do you believe at that level? To stare death in the face and still believe.
To BELIEVE like this, it has to become personal! And this mission was personally anchored deep within these soldier’s hearts and souls.
The sacrifice is hard to fathom…the appreciation for them must be amplified!
For those that battled, served, and believed the best was yet to come, even if they knew they would never see it…THANK YOU!
Seniors: Cherish your last HS team camps! There are only a few weeks of summer camp left & the time will go quick. Make sure you compete every second that you get to, cherish time with your teammates, take lots of pictures & make sure to enjoy it because you will miss these days!
The youth basketball industry has convinced parents that more 1-on-1 workouts = more development. Meanwhile, the best players are learning to make reads, solve movement problems, communicate & compete in live play. Basketball IQ isn’t built in cone drills. It’s built in the game.

Memorial Day is more than a holiday. It’s a reminder that freedom came at a cost.
Today we honor the brave men and women who gave everything in service to others. Live with gratitude. Never forget their sacrifice. 🇺🇸
Today, we remember.
This picture says what words often can’t-there are people who laid down their lives so we could live in freedom.
They did not just serve; they sacrificed. And for that, we owe them more than gratitude. We owe them remembrance, reverence, and a flame-hearted life lived with zeal and purpose.
Freedom was never free. It was purchased at a cost most of us will never fully comprehend. So today, we thank God for the men and women who stood in the gap, carried the burden, and gave everything for something much bigger than themselves.
May we never take for granted the liberty we enjoy. May we never forget the families who grieve. And may we live in a way that honors those heroes-with humility, with courage, and with a heart fully surrendered to the God who gives us ultimate victory.
On this Memorial Day, we remember the heroes who gave their lives for all of us to enjoy the lives we live.
May God bless their families!
Today we remember & honor. Thank you to all the great men & women who defend the U.S.A. To all those who have served & are serving or have given their life for this amazing country, there is no better honor! Without you, our country couldn’t be what it is today! Thank you! 🇺🇸🙏🏻
