Crown Point will be represented in 3 of the 4 distance events at the IHSAA State Finals.
The 4x800 relay won Regional 1 in 7:55.06, with all four guys splitting under 2:00. Metzger and Zona also doubled back later in the meet to set lifetime bests in the 800 and 1600.
The guys will line up against some of the best in the state and the country next Saturday, June 6th.

After splitting 1:59 in the 4x800, Jackson came back and placed 2nd in the 1600 with a lifetime best of 4:26.80.

Got to ring the PR bell twice this weekend in Huntsville for the first time in 2 years because of injury. Happy to see her running with confidence and strength again.

I thought this group was capable of running 7:50, but didn’t know if they could do it from the slow heat. They proved me wrong and ended up setting state record in the process. Record only lasted about 10 minutes as Pella reset the record in the 2nd heat.
