This is the interview Donald Trump didn’t want you to see.
His FCC refused to air my interview with Stephen Colbert.
Trump is worried we’re about to flip Texas.
Buying and controlling media platforms.
Firing commentators.
Canceling shows.
These aren’t coincidences.
It’s coordinated. And it’s dangerous.
The @GOP does not believe in free speech.
They are censoring you in real time.
With the next IHSA board of directors meeting set for Monday (June 16), there needs to be positive change and a new set of eyes around soccer as it continues to struggle at the high school level in Illinois.
This week, I am going to lay a number of things out, and you’ll also see stories in main stream media leading up to the board of directors meeting.
Today, we are going to look at officials.
IHSA soccer officials are required to attend clinics once every three years. The clinics are not run by the IHSA, but subcontracted out to the IL Soccer Clinics (ISC). It is ran by Chris Rudolph, John Anderson and others.
According to officials, ISC’s content uses real examples from high school games and is good.
Despite this being a separate organization, IHSA assistant executive director Beth Sauser picks the clinicians and the clinicians help Beth pick officials for the IHSA state finals.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone that when you look at this picture with this post, a portion of the state finals officials are leadership from ISC.
On the chart that is pulled from public IHSA data, John Anderson goes back and forth from being Coordinator of Officials - the person who gives the directives and game assignments for the IHSA state finals - to being an active official at the state finals.
Again, I ask you to look at this picture. I am all for experience and rewarding longtime and dedicated officials, but we have to use common sense.
Why don’t we have younger officials assigned to be with a mentor on state finals weekend? Why don’t we have more females involved? Why don’t we have more Hispanic officials involved?
For years, I’ve listened to college officials, who also are IHSA certified - meaning they paid their fee to the nearly $1 million IHSA pot to have the right to officiate any IHSA game - tell me that the IHSA refuses to let them work IHSA state tournament games.
In addition, I’ve listened to some of the top Hispanic officials in the #Chicago region tell me they’ve never received postseason assignments from the IHSA.
Perception is reality, and the reality is that we need to look and see the following:
Is there a conflict of interest here with ISC and IHSA?
Why don’t we have up-and-coming officials at state finals events to gain experience of being around the atmosphere, build relationships and watching from the sidelines to promote them?
Why don’t we have more female officials at state finals events?
Why don’t we have more Hispanic officials at state finals events?
It’s time for a new set of eyes around IHSA soccer.

Dave is right on this. It's not a left or right thing. This was a massive screwup and a real security failure. So why is the President, who used to fire people for fun on reality TV, not firing the people who made this mess?
BREAKING: The Department of Veterans Affairs has CANCELLED SUICIDE PREVENTION TRAINING because it includes considerations for the LGBTQ+ community.
Veterans suicide.
🚨NEW: Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has signed a 16-bill package into law protecting reproductive rights in her state, including making birth control more accessible to women.
RETWEET to thank @GovWhitmer for standing up for reproductive freedom!
The president can veto or support legislation. He can make recommendations to Congress. But he doesn't have the unilateral right to change laws.
Trump has very little respect for the rule of law & our Constitution. He is moving us toward authoritarianism.
We must stop him.
The long quest to build both a training facility and a stadium in Chicago -- with #NWSL as the primary tenant -- continues. More from the Chicago Tribune, which includes this point that really summarizes the league's widespread venue problem.

@JonGordon11 I’m sorry you’re part of the small group for whom vaccines haven’t been effective. It’s an unfortunate situation, but vaccines are still crucial—they work for the vast majority of people, preventing serious illness and saving millions of lives worldwide.
She’s talking about things like the cost of living, building housing, the child tax credit, the right to choose.
He’s talking about political violence—approvingly.
Only one candidate is fit to be President. Let’s make sure she wins.
