@exquisitebizoun@IanKennedyCK Ironically, expansion may bring more offence. With more discrepancy throughout the roster, there will be more opportunity for line mismatches and hopefully more offence. I am exaggerating a bit, but as it is right now, it’s like every shift is Olympian vs Olympian.
@darkslythe83@icehockeystick That said, my goal was not to undermine your point, rather to highlight the quality of many USPORTS programs.
I support your initial point wrt the presence of D1 shouldn’t matter. Seattle?
What matters is Detroit has a strong and viable WHKY scene capable of supporting a team.
@darkslythe83@icehockeystick No, but there are USPORTS teams in Montreal who are on par with many D1 programs (and likely better than some others).
Before you say it, no, the USPORTS teams are not on the same level as say OSU, Wisco, etc., but neither are many of the other D1 programs across the US.
@JoJoFromJerz President should have a maximum no. of pardons they could give during their term (say 5-10). He would have to decide between one of his children, one of his cronies, or even himself over Maxwell. Currently handing them out like tick tacks for the sake of political favor.
Béatrice Bilodeau chose the University of Ottawa because it felt like home.
And there, she’s grown and developed into a leader both on the ice and in the community.
Discover her story on Episode 116 of Rinkside Rundown, available now: https://t.co/XsooJ3BgHT
Béatrice Bilodeau grew up playing on a rink her dad built in their backyard. Now she wears the captain's 'C' and just won the Marion Hilliard Award for excellence in hockey, academics, and community service.

“You guys make it about the wins and losses. 25 years from now, I want them to pick up the phone and call me because they need me. I’m there for them.”
The life of a coach is an investment in people, not just points.
Build a legacy that outlasts the jersey.
@ChrisSinclairrr@TheHockeyNewsW Another very good USPORTS goaltending prospect. Was absolutely pivotal in backstopping her MRU team to a National title back in 2023.
@pwdrblueblood Plays to the whistle too and doesn’t give up on plays. Too many times our IOL was just watching after being beat and then walking back to pick Herbert up off the ground. “Sorry man, my bad” just won’t cut it any longer.
@DieHardBolt1@ZoneTracks You nailed it. With that much churn in a group that is typically stable while still failing to address the key issues, somebody is going to be bitter. His upbeat character probably had players thinking he was negligent, while I suspect he was working hard behind the scenes.
Canada Fs hardly getting any controlled entries between the dot lanes. They can try attacking more on a diagonal to force FIN Ds into some coverage decisions. Skating at a 45deg also creates a bit more space through this short NZ.
@TDU_Chargers@BB_Chargers Thoughts on center being a priority? Linsley even made the previous regime look tolerable. That changed when he had to retire. Throw everything at Ravens Tyler Lindenbaum. If Bozeman is a “good room guy” then keep him as backup or practice squad.
@BreidenFehoko@show_case29 Terrible play call. 3rd and 11. 3secs after snap all 4 receivers are crossing the 40. Great width, but no depth var. No outs. Vidal releases a moment later into the middle where he would have been engulfed by both LBs and a safety. Nothing to the flat?
