A father attended 87 of his son’s 91 baseball games over six years.
His ex-wife attended 23.
He had a dated photo from almost every game.
At senior night, their son chose his mother to walk onto the field—and asked his father to stay in the bleachers.
The father assumed his ex had turned the boy against him.
His son took out his phone, searched their messages for “good game,” and showed him 79 results.
@Read_Meee The dad sacrificed so much and made sure his head was always in the game
Kept reminding him to improve but he choose being emotional
A wise man once said
“You become a man when you begin to understand some actions your father did and decisions he made”
Eruption- Van Halen- Eddie Van Halen Guitar Solo- Electric Violin Cover by Nina D
Nina’s Notes 🎶:
This was by far the hardest thing I’ve learned thus far on electric violin in the rock genre. This is the solo of all solos. While there is no shortage of covers and tutorials on the internet for a guitarist who wants to learn it, when I went to learn it, almost nothing of the sort existed for violin. There were a few covers out there on acoustic violin that are great- but anyone who knows me, knows I wanted to try and sound as authentic to Eddie as possible, on violin. There were many steps to this process, the biggest being learning how to finger tap on a violin. It was a long process of trial/error and practice to achieve the effect chain and technique.
Some FAQ:
1.) It is a 7-string violin, not a chin guitar. If you don’t understand why, ask me a question! I will gladly answer. (But don’t state something as fact you have no experience in). I am a classically trained violinist who also plays electric violin, guitar, bass, and piano. I am qualified to answer your questions.
2.) It’s not easier to play on a violin. (Violin is never the “easy” instrument).
3.) Yes, I write my own music, but that has no bearing at all on being an instrumentalist. The best virtuoso instrumentalists in the word mostly do not write music because they practice all the time- to be the best they can be at their instrument. (Touring soloists, session players, hired guns for A-listers).
4.) No, I’m not miming to Eddie. You can come see this live on my tour dates with Femmes of Rock. You can also find live videos of this on YouTube.

@DMVHockey You’re spot on. It’s sickening! Back in my day, you listened to the coach because he had more experience and was someone you can trust. Now the parents think they know everything because they can Google. It’s a lack of respect in my opinion. And stupidity & lack of common sense!

@DStarmanHockey@Dave__Fischer And I know Shattuck school is also listed but they play as a club full season aaa unlike Don Bosco who plays a winter school season only
@DStarmanHockey@Dave__Fischer Strange how it says youth hockey connections. Not schools. and Drew Fortescue is listed under Don Bosco which is a school instead of the mid Fairfield Junior rangers youth hockey organization.
When I first became a youth hockey director, I thought the job description was HOCKEY.
I found out pretty quick that most of my time was not spent on hockey, but on administrative tasks and putting out massive amounts of fires from parents.
As someone who is passionate about player development, I was so eager to dive in with the kids and the coaches and focus on HOCKEY.
But I found my time was being pulled in a million different directions and wasn’t able to spend my time with what I was passionate about.
We have created a YOUTH ORGANIZATION BLUEPRINT that will give the HOCKEY back to hockey directors by helping associations streamline their processes and educate parents and coaches on youth hockey development and culture.
It’s something we’ve been working on for a long time and are so excited to roll out to the hockey world.
Shoot me an email - [email protected] if you want to learn more about it.
It’s going to be a game-changer in youth hockey.

The new additions to the inside and outside of the locker room. Coaches Door-Alumni. This was the most important piece of the project. I wanted it to reflect who we were, who we are and where we came from. On this collage is a few of our alumni players in their college, pro…
Lol within 2 minutes I have 4 kids texting me the same message from a NAHL team to “personally” invite them to a predraft camp.
The same team can never be bothered to respond to any messages either. #Joke
